तदानय समीपं मे शीघ्रमेनां विभीषण ।
सीता पश्यतु मामेषा सुहृद्गणवृतं स्थितम् ॥६-११७-२९॥
tadānaya samīpaṃ me śīghramenāṃ vibhīṣaṇa |
sītā paśyatu māmeṣā suhṛdgaṇavṛtaṃ sthitam ॥6-117-29॥
Translation
"Therefore, O Vibhishana, bring her near me quickly. Let Sita see me standing surrounded by the host of friends."
हिंदी अनुवाद
'इसलिए हे विभीषण! इसे शीघ्र मेरे पास लाओ। यह सीता मुझे मित्रों के समूह से घिरे हुए स्थित देखे।'
English Commentary
The command is reiterated explicitly. Sita must come out. Shri Rama wants her to witness his glory surrounded by allies ('suhṛdgaṇavṛtaṃ'), and reciprocally, the allies to witness her return.
हिंदी टीका
श्री राम पुनः आदेश देते हैं। वे चाहते हैं कि सीता पालकी से उतरकर पैदल आएं ताकि वह श्री राम को उनके मित्रों (वानर-भालू) के साथ देख सकें और सब लोग उसे देख सकें। यह एक सार्वजनिक प्रदर्शन है।
