दिव्याङ्गरागां वैदेहीं दिव्याभरणभूषिताम् ।
इह सीतां शिरःस्नातामुपस्थापय मा चिरम् ॥६-११७-७॥
divyāṅgarāgāṃ vaidehīṃ divyābharaṇabhūṣitām |
iha sītāṃ śiraḥsnātāmupasthāpaya mā ciram ॥6-117-7॥
Translation
"Bring Vaidehi (Sita) here, bathed from head to toe, anointed with divine cosmetics, and adorned with divine ornaments. Do not delay."

दिव्य अंगरागों (उबटन/लेप) से युक्त, दिव्य आभूषणों से अलंकृत और सिर से स्नान की हुई वैदेही (सीता) को मेरे पास लाओ। देर मत करो।
English Commentary
Shri Rama orders that Sita be bathed and adorned with royal finery before coming to him. This is significant. He does not want a bedraggled prisoner brought before the army; he wants the Queen. This could be to assert her dignity or, more subtly, to prepare her for the formal/public scrutiny that awaits, distancing the personal reunion.

श्रीश्री राम सीताजी को 'शिरःस्नाताम्' (बाल धोकर स्नान की हुई) और सजी-धजी अवस्था में बुलाते हैं। यह आदेश सामान्यत: विचित्र लग सकता है क्योंकि वियोगिनी स्त्री को उसी अवस्था में मिलना चाहिए। संभवतः श्रीश्री राम चाहते थे कि सीता एक महारानी के रूप में, पवित्र होकर समाज के सामने आएं, ताकि उनकी आभा देखकर किसी को उनकी पवित्रता पर संदेह न हो।
