प्रेषितस्ते यदा वीरो हनुमानवलोककः ।
लङ्कास्थाहं त्वया वीर किं तदा न विसर्जिता ॥६-११९-११॥
preṣitaste yadā vīro hanumānavalokakaḥ |
laṅkāsthāhaṃ tvayā vīra kiṃ tadā na visarjitā ॥6-119-11॥
Translation
O Hero! When You sent the valiant Hanuman to find me, why did You not abandon me while I was still in Lanka?
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे वीर! जब आपने हनुमान जी को मुझे ढूँढने के लिए भेजा था, तब लंका में ही आपके द्वारा मेरा परित्याग क्यों नहीं कर दिया गया?
English Commentary
Sita asks a very logical question. She argues that if Shri Rama had doubts, why didn't He send a message of rejection through Hanuman? This would have avoided the massive war and the sacrifice of so many Vanaras. This question highlights the perceived inconsistency in Shri Rama's current actions.

सीता जी यहाँ एक अत्यंत तर्कसंगत प्रश्न कर रही हैं। वे कह रही हैं कि यदि श्री राम के मन में संशय था, तो उन्होंने हनुमान जी के हाथों ही यह संदेश क्यों नहीं भेज दिया? इससे न तो इतना भीषण युद्ध होता और न ही इतने वानरों का बलिदान। यह प्रश्न श्री राम की वर्तमान कार्यवाही की विसंगति को दर्शाता है।
