कर्मणा मनसा वाचा यथा नातिचराम्यहम् ।
राघवं सर्वधर्मज्ञं तथा मां पातु पावकः ॥६-११९-२६॥
karmaṇā manasā vācā yathā nāticarāmyaham |
rāghavaṃ sarvadharmatñaṃ tathā māṃ pātu pāvakaḥ ॥6-119-26॥
Translation
If I have never transgressed against Shri Rama, the knower of all Dharma, in deed, thought, or word; then may Agni protect me.
हिंदी अनुवाद
कर्म, मन और वाणी से यदि मैंने कभी भी सर्वधर्मज्ञ श्री रघुनाथ जी का उल्लंघन (अपराध) नहीं किया है, तो अग्निदेव मेरी रक्षा करें।
English Commentary
'Manasa, Vacha, Karmana' (thought, word, deed)—this is the threefold standard of Indian purity. Sita claims she is pure on all these planes. She addresses Shri Rama as 'Sarvadharmajna' (knower of all Dharma), which could be both an irony and a truth—implying that one who knows Dharma should also recognize the Truth.

'मनसा, वाचा, कर्मणा' (मन, वाणी और कर्म)— यह भारतीय शुचिता का त्रिविध मापदण्ड है। सीता जी दावा करती हैं कि वे इन तीनों धरातलों पर पवित्र हैं। वे श्री राम को 'सर्वधर्मज्ञ' कहती हैं, जो एक व्यंग्य भी हो सकता है और सत्य भी—अर्थात जो धर्म को जानता है, उसे सत्य को भी पहचानना चाहिए।
