सुलोहिततलौ श्लक्क्षणौ चरणौ सुप्रतिष्ठतौ ।
दृष्ट्वा ताम्रनखौ तस्या दीप्यते मे शरीरजः ॥६-१२-१५॥
sulauhitatalau ślakṣṇau caraṇau supratiṣṭhitau । dṛṣṭvā tāmranakhau tasyā dīpyate me śarīrajaḥ ॥6-12-15॥
Translation
Seeing her feet with beautiful red soles, smooth, well-formed, and copper-colored nails, my passion/lust (born of the body) flares up.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उसके लाल तलवों वाले, चिकने, सुडौल (सुप्रतिष्ठित) और तांबे जैसे (लाल) नाखूनों वाले चरणों को देखकर मेरा कामदेव (शरीरज) प्रदीप्त हो उठता है।
English Commentary
Fetishization. Ravana focuses on the details of her feet ('charanau'). The sight inflames his 'shariraja' (lust). This verse emphasizes that Ravana is driven by physical desire, blinding him to the danger she represents.

कामोद्दीपन। सीता के चरणों को देखकर ही रावण का 'शरीरज' (काम/Lust) भड़क उठता है। यह उसकी कामुकता की तीव्रता को दर्शाता है—वह सीता के नख-शिख सौंदर्य में डूबा है।
