परे पारे समुद्रस्य पुरस्कृत्य नृपात्मजौ ।
सीतायाः पदवीम् प्राप्य सम्प्राप्तौ वरुणालयम् ॥६-१२-२४॥
te me bhavantaśca tathā sugrīvapramukhān harīn । pare pāraṃ samudrasya puraskṛtya nṛpātmajau ॥6-12-24॥
Translation
You are with me. And there, placing the princes at the forefront, the monkeys led by Sugriva are on the other shore of the ocean.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे आप लोग (मेरे साथ हैं)। उधर सुग्रीव आदि वानरों और राजकुमारों (श्री राम-लक्ष्मण) ने समुद्र के दूसरे किनारे पर पड़ाव डाल दिया है (वे आ धमके हैं)।
English Commentary
Situation Report. Ravana acknowledges the proximity of the threat. The enemy forces, led by Sugriva and the Princes, have reached the 'pare param' (far shore). The standoff has begun.

स्थिति का आकलन। रावण स्वीकार करता है कि शत्रु दरवाजे (दूसरे किनारे) पर है। 'पुरस्कृत्य नृपात्मजौ' (राजकुमारों को आगे करके) - वह जानता है कि नेतृत्व श्री राम-लक्ष्मण के हाथ में है।
