लोकानां त्वं परो धर्मो विष्वक्सेनश्चतुर्भुजः ।
शार्ङ्गधन्वा हृषीकेशः पुरुषः पुरुषोत्तमः ॥६-१२०-१५॥
lokānāṃ tvaṃ paro dharmo viṣvaksenaścaturbhujaḥ |
śārṅgadhanvā hṛṣīkeśaḥ puruṣaḥ puruṣottamaḥ ॥6-120-15॥
Translation
"You are the Supreme Dharma of the worlds. You are Vishvaksena, the Four-armed one, the Wielder of the Sharnga bow, Hrishikesha (Lord of Senses), and the Supreme Person (Purushottama)."
हिंदी अनुवाद
तुम लोकों के परम धर्म हो। तुम विष्वक्सेन (जिसकी सेना चारों ओर हो/विष्णु का नाम), चतुर्भुज, शांर्ग धनुष धारण करने वाले, हृषीकेश (इन्द्रियों के स्वामी) और पुरुषोत्तम हो।
English Commentary
Shri Rama is equated with Dharma itself ('paro dharmo'). Divine attributes of Vishnu such as being 'Chaturbhuja' (four-armed) and holding the 'Sharnga' bow are attributed to him. Titles like 'Hrishikesha' and 'Purushottama' signify his mastery over the senses and his status as the Supreme Being beyond the material world.

श्री राम को 'परम धर्म' कहा गया है, जिसका अर्थ है कि वे धर्म के मूर्तिमान स्वरूप हैं ('श्री रामो विग्रहवान धर्मः')। 'चतुर्भुज' और 'शार्ङ्गधन्वा' विष्णु के रूप हैं। 'पुरुषोत्तम' कहकर उन्हें क्षर और अक्षर दोनों से परे परम पुरुष घोषित किया गया है।
