अजितः खड्गधृग्विष्णुः कृष्णश्चैव बृहद्बलः ।
सेनानीर्ग्रामणीश्च त्वं बुद्धिः सत्त्वं क्षमा दमः ॥६-१२०-१६॥
ajitaḥ khaḍgadhṛgviṣṇuḥ kṛṣṇaścaiva bṛhadbalaḥ |
senānīrgrāmaṇīśca tvaṃ buddhiḥ sattvaṃ kṣamā damaḥ ॥6-120-16॥
Translation
"You are Invincible, the wielder of the sword (Nandaka), Vishnu, and indeed Krishna of great strength. You are the Commander, the Leader, Intellect, Essence, Forgiveness, and Self-control."
हिंदी अनुवाद
तुम अजित (अपराजित) हो, नन्दक खड्ग धारण करने वाले विष्णु हो। तुम ही महाबली कृष्ण हो। तुम सेनापति, ग्रामणी (नेताओं के नेता), बुद्धि, सत्वगुण, क्षमा और दम (इन्द्रिय निग्रह) हो।
English Commentary
Shri Rama is identified as 'Ajita' (unconquered) and 'Krishna' (which can mean the all-attractive one or the future avatar). He is equated with abstract virtues like 'Buddhi' (intellect), 'Kshama' (forgiveness), and 'Dama' (self-control), suggesting that these virtues exist in the world only because of him.
हिंदी टीका
ब्रह्मा जी श्री राम को 'कृष्ण' भी कहते हैं (यहाँ कृष्ण का अर्थ विष्णु का नाम या काला वर्ण हो सकता है, या भावी अवतार का संकेत)। वे श्री राम को अमूर्त गुणों का रूप बताते हैं—वे ही बुद्धि, क्षमा और दम हैं। अर्थात श्री राम केवल व्यक्ति नहीं, बल्कि सद्गुणों के अधिष्ठान हैं।
