शरण्यं शरणं च त्वामाहुर्दिव्या महर्षयः ।
सहस्रशृङ्गो वेदात्मा शतजिह्वो महर्षभः ॥६-१२०-१८॥
śaraṇyaṃ śaraṇaṃ ca tvāmāhurdivyā maharṣayaḥ |
sahasraśṛṅgo vedātmā śatajihvo maharṣabhaḥ ॥6-120-18॥
Translation
"Divine sages call you the Refuge and the Protector. You are the Thousand-horned one, the Soul of the Vedas, the Hundred-tongued one, and the Great Bull (best among beings)."

दिव्य महर्षि तुम्हें शरण देने योग्य और शरणस्थान (रक्षक) कहते हैं। तुम हजार सींगों वाले, वेद स्वरूप, सौ जिह्वाओं वाले और महान वृषभ (धर्म रूप/श्रेष्ठ) हो।
English Commentary
Shri Rama is the ultimate 'Sharanya' (Refuge) for devotees. Terms like 'Vedatma' (Soul of Vedas) link him to the source of all knowledge. Metaphors like 'Thousand-horned' and 'Great Bull' are Vedic symbolisms for the Supreme Being's strength and generative power.
