अहं ते हृदयं राम जिह्वा देवी सरस्वती ।
देवा गात्रेषु रोमाणि निर्मिता ब्रह्मणा प्रभो ॥६-१२०-२४॥
ahaṃ te hṛdayaṃ rāma jihvā devī sarasvatī |
devā gātreṣu romāṇi nirmitā brahmaṇā prabho ॥6-120-24॥
Translation
"I (Brahma) am your heart, O Shri Rama; Goddess Saraswati is your tongue; and the gods created by Brahma are the hairs on your limbs, O Lord."
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे श्री राम! मैं (ब्रह्मा) तुम्हारा हृदय हूँ, देवी सरस्वती तुम्हारी जिह्वा हैं, और हे प्रभो! ब्रह्मा द्वारा रचे गए सभी देवता तुम्हारे अंगों के रोम हैं।
English Commentary
This verse establishes the hierarchy. Shri Rama is the organic whole (The Totality), while Brahma, Saraswati, and all gods are merely functional parts of his cosmic body. Being the 'heart' implies Brahma functions through Shri Rama's will. Gods being mere 'body hairs' suggests they are numerous but minute compared to Shri Rama's vastness.

ब्रह्मा जी अपनी और अन्य देवताओं की स्थिति स्पष्ट करते हैं—वे सब श्री राम के विराट शरीर के अंग मात्र हैं। ब्रह्मा 'हृदय' हैं और ज्ञान की देवी सरस्वती 'जिह्वा'। समस्त देवता श्री राम के शरीर के 'रोम' (बाल) के समान हैं, जो श्री राम की विशालता के सामने देवताओं की लघुता को दर्शाता है।
