Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
अमोघास्ते भविष्यन्ति भक्तिमन्तश्च ये नराः ।
ये त्वां देवं ध्रुवं भक्ताः पुराणं पुरुषोत्तमम् ॥६-१२०-३१॥
amoghāste bhaviṣyanti bhaktimantaśca ye narāḥ |
ye tvāṃ devaṃ dhruvaṃ bhaktāḥ purāṇaṃ puruṣottamam ॥6-120-31॥
Translation
"Those humans who are full of devotion to you will be successful (unfailing). Those who are devoted to you, the Ancient, Eternal God, the Supreme Person..."
हिंदी अनुवाद
जो मनुष्य आप में भक्ति रखेंगे, वे (सफल) होंगे। जो आप प्राचीन पुरुषोत्तम, ध्रुव (नित्य) देव की भक्ति करेंगे (वे कभी निष्फल नहीं होंगे)।
English Commentary
This verse promises that the infallibility of Shri Rama is transferred to his devotees. Those who worship him as the 'Purana Purushottama' (Ancient Supreme Being) will themselves become successful in their endeavors. It establishes Bhakti (devotion) as the means to access Shri Rama's grace.
हिंदी टीका
श्री राम की भक्ति का फल बताया गया है। श्री राम 'पुराण पुरुषोत्तम' (सनातन परमेश्वर) हैं। उनकी भक्ति करने वाले 'अमोघ' हो जाते हैं, अर्थात उनके संकल्प और जीवन कभी व्यर्थ नहीं जाते।
