ततः सहस्ताभरणान् प्रगृह्य विपुलान् भुजान् ।
अब्रुवंस्त्रिदशश्रेष्ठाः प्राञ्जलिं राघवं स्थितम् ॥६-१२०-५॥
tataḥ sahastābharaṇān pragṛhya vipulān bhujān |
abruvaṃstridaśaśreṣṭhāḥ prāñjaliṃ rāghavaṃ sthitam ॥6-120-5॥
Translation
Then, lifting their long arms adorned with ornaments, those excellent gods spoke to Raghava, who stood with folded hands.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर उन श्रेष्ठ देवताओं ने अपने आभूषणों से युक्त विशाल भुजाओं को उठाकर, हाथ जोड़े खड़े हुए राघव (श्री राम) से कहा।
English Commentary
A striking visual contrast is presented here. The supreme gods raise their arms in blessing and gesture, while Shri Rama stands 'pranjali' (with folded hands) in humility. यहाँ एक अद्भुत दृश्य है। त्रिभुवन के स्वामी देवता अपनी भुजाएं उठाकर श्रीश्री राम का स्वागत कर रहे हैं, जबकि श्रीश्री राम 'प्रांजलि' (हाथ जोड़े) खड़े हैं। यह श्री राम की विनम्रता और उनकी 'नर-लीला' (मानव धर्म) के पालन को दर्शाता है। वे स्वयं भगवान होते हुए भी बड़ों के प्रति मर्यादा नहीं छोड़ते।
