सिद्धार्था खलु कौसल्या या त्वां राम गृहं गतम् ।
वनान्निवृत्तं संहृष्टा द्रक्ष्यत्यरिनिषूदन ॥६-१२२-१८॥
siddhārthā khalu kausalyā yā tvāṃ rāma gṛhaṃ gatam |
vanānnivṛttaṃ saṃhṛṣṭā drakṣyatyariniṣūdana ॥6-122-18॥
Translation
O destroyer of enemies, Shri Rama! Kausalya is indeed successful in her purpose, for she will joyfully behold You having returned home from the forest.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे शत्रुओं का संहार करने वाले श्री राम! निश्चित ही कौसल्या सफल मनोरथ वाली (धन्य) होंगी, जो वन से लौटकर घर आए हुए तुम्हें अत्यंत हर्ष के साथ देखेंगी।
English Commentary
Dasharatha visualizes the good fortune of Queen Kausalya. The word 'Siddhartha' (one whose purpose is achieved) is the reward for the patience Kausalya maintained for fourteen years. For a mother, no joy surpasses the safe return of her son. This verse expresses the blissful anticipation of familial reunion.

दशरथ जी अपनी रानी कौसल्या के सौभाग्य की कल्पना कर रहे हैं। 'सiddhārthā' (जिसका अर्थ सिद्ध हो गया हो) शब्द माता कौसल्या के उस धैर्य का फल है जो उन्होंने चौदह वर्षों तक रखा। एक माँ के लिए अपने पुत्र की सुरक्षित वापसी से बड़ा कोई सुख नहीं हो सकता। यह श्लोक पारिवारिक पुनर्मिलन की उस सुखद अनुभूति को व्यक्त करता है।
