सिद्धार्थाः खलु ते राम नरा ये त्वां पुरीं गतम् ।
जलाद्वर्मभिषिक्तं च द्रक्ष्यन्ति वसुधाधिपम् ॥६-१२२-१९॥
siddhārthāḥ khalu te rāma narā ye tvāṃ purīṃ gatam |
jalād virmabhiṣiktaṃ ca drakṣyanti vasudhādhipam ॥6-122-19॥
Translation
Indeed, O Shri Rama, those men are also fortunate who shall behold You in the city, consecrated as the Lord of the earth with sacred waters.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे श्री राम! वे लोग भी धन्य होंगे, जो नगरी में पहुँचकर पवित्र जल से राजा के रूप में अभिषिक्त होते हुए तुम्हें पृथ्वी के स्वामी के रूप में देखेंगे।
English Commentary
This refers to the good fortune of the subjects. The coronation of an ideal king is a cause for celebration for all people. Consecration with 'sacred waters' symbolizes the re-establishment of righteous rule. Dasharatha knows that Shri Rama's reign will mark the end of the earth's suffering.
हिंदी टीका
यहाँ 'प्रजा' के सौभाग्य की चर्चा है। एक आदर्श राजा का राज्याभिषेक सम्पूर्ण प्रजा के लिए उत्सव का विषय होता है। 'जलाद्वर्मभिषिक्तम्' (पवित्र जल से अभिषेक) राजधर्म की पुनर्स्थापना का प्रतीक है। दशरथ जी जानते हैं कि श्री राम का राजा बनना पृथ्वी के दुखों का अंत होगा।
