निवृत्तवनवासोऽसि प्रतिज्ञा सफला कृता ।
रावणं च रणे हत्वा देवास्ते परितोषिताः ॥६-१२२-२२॥
nivṛttavanavāso'si pratijñā saphalā kṛtā |
rāvaṇaṃ ca raṇe hatvā devāste paritoṣitāḥ ॥6-122-22॥
Translation
Your exile has now ended and Your vow has been fulfilled. By slaying Ravana in battle, You have satisfied the Gods as well.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तुम्हारा वनवास अब समाप्त हो गया है और तुमने अपनी प्रतिज्ञा को सफल कर दिया है। युद्ध में रावण का वध करके तुमने देवताओं को भी संतुष्ट कर दिया है।
English Commentary
Dasharatha summarizes Shri Rama's achievements. The fulfillment of a vow ('Pratijna Saphala') is the greatest glory for a Kshatriya. The satisfaction of the gods proves that this war was for the establishment of divine justice. It is now time for Shri Rama to experience joy and rest.

दशरथ जी यहाँ श्री राम की उपलब्धियों का सार प्रस्तुत कर रहे हैं। प्रतिज्ञा की सफलता (प्रतिज्ञा सफला) एक क्षत्रिय के लिए सबसे बड़ा गौरव है। देवताओं की संतुष्टि (परितोषिताः) यह सिद्ध करती है कि यह युद्ध दैवीय न्याय की स्थापना के लिए था। अब श्री राम के लिए सुख और विश्श्री राम का समय है।
