Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
कृतं कर्म यशः श्लाघ्यं प्राप्तं ते शत्रूसूदन ।
भ्रातृभिः सह राज्यस्थो दीर्घमायुरवाप्नुहि ॥६-१२२-२३॥
kṛtaṃ karma yaśaḥ ślāghyaṃ prāptaṃ te śatrūsūdana |
bhrātṛbhiḥ saha rājyasthō dīrghamāyur avāpnuhi ॥6-122-23॥
Translation
O destroyer of foes! You have performed a commendable deed and attained glory. Now, enjoying the kingdom along with Your brothers, may You attain a long life.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे शत्रुहन्ता! तुमने प्रशंसनीय कार्य किया है और यश प्राप्त किया है। अब अपने भाइयों के साथ राज्य का सुख भोगते हुए दीर्घायु प्राप्त करो।
English Commentary
This is a father's final blessing to his son. The phrase 'along with Your brothers' alludes to the reunion of Shri Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna, which became the historical archetype of brotherhood. The blessing for a 'long life' hints at the extended era of Ramrajya filled with peace and prosperity.

यह एक पिता का अपने पुत्र को दिया गया अंतिम आशीर्वाद है। 'भ्रातृभिः सह' शब्द श्री राम, लक्ष्मण, भरत और शत्रुघ्न के उस पुनर्मिलन की ओर संकेत करते हैं जो इतिहास में भाईचारे का उदाहरण बना। 'दीर्घायु' का आशीर्वाद रामराज्य के उस लम्बे कालखंड की ओर इशारा करता है जो सुख और शांति से भरा होगा।
