एष राजा विमानस्थः पिता दशरथस्तव ।
काकुत्स्थ मानुषे लोके गुरुस्तव महायशाः ॥६-१२२-७॥
eṣa rājā vimānasthaḥ pitā daśarathastava |
kākutstha mānuṣe loke gurustava mahāyaśāḥ ॥6-122-7॥
Translation
O scion of Kakutstha! Seated on the celestial chariot is your father, King Dasharatha, who was your highly illustrious preceptor (father) in the mortal world.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे ककुत्स्थकुल भूषण! विमान पर बैठे हुए ये तुम्हारे पिता राजा दशरथ हैं, जो मनुष्य लोक में तुम्हारे महान यशस्वी गुरु (पिता) थे।
English Commentary
This is a deeply emotional moment. Mahadeva grants Shri Rama a vision of His late father. Referring to Dasharatha as 'Guru' affirms the father's role as the primary teacher and guide.
