समुत्थास्यन्ति हरयः सुप्ता निद्राक्षये यथा ।
सुहृद्भिर्बान्धवैश्चैव ज्ञातिभिः स्वजनैरपि ॥६-१२३-१३॥
samutthāsyanti harayaḥ suptā nidrākṣaye yathā |
suhṛdbhirbāndhavaiścaiva jñātibhiḥ svajanairapi ॥6-123-13॥
Translation
'The monkeys shall rise up just as sleeping ones do at the end of their slumber, and they shall be reunited with their friends, relatives, kinsmen, and own people.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
जैसे नींद खुलने पर सोए हुए लोग उठते हैं, वैसे ही वानर उठ खड़े होंगे और अपने मित्रों, बन्धुओं, जातियों और स्वजनों के साथ मिल जाएंगे।
English Commentary
Indra uses a poetic simile: the dead warriors will rise as if waking up from sleep ('supta nidrakshaye yatha'). This softens the concept of death, suggesting that under divine grace, mortality is but a temporary slumber. The verse emphasizes the social aspect of the resurrection—reuniting with 'suhrid' (friends) and 'bandhava' (kin), fulfilling Shri Rama's wish for the families of the soldiers.

यहाँ मृत्यु की तुलना नींद से की गई है ('सुप्ता निद्राक्षये यथा')। यह उपमा अत्यंत सुंदर है, जो बताती है कि परमात्मा की कृपा से मृत्यु भी एक क्षणिक निद्रा मात्र रह जाती है। इन्द्र यह भी आश्वासन देते हैं कि वानर अपने स्वजनों से मिलेंगे, जो श्री राम की मुख्य चिंता थी। यह पुनर्मिलन का दृश्य युद्ध के तनाव के बाद आनंद का संचार करने वाला है।
