ऊचुस्ते प्रथमं स्तुत्वा त्वां सहलक्ष्मणम् ।
गच्छायोध्यामितो वीर विसर्जये च वानरान् ॥६-१२३-१८॥
ūcuste prathamaṃ stutvā tvāṃ sahalakṣmaṇam |
gacchāyodhyāmito vīra visarjaya ca vānarān ॥6-123-18॥
Translation
They (the Gods) first praised you (Shri Rama) along with Lakshmana and said: 'Go to Ayodhya from here, O Hero, and dismiss the monkeys.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
देवताओं ने पहले लक्ष्मण सहित श्री राम की स्तुति की और फिर कहा—'हे वीर! अब तुम यहाँ से अयोध्या जाओ और वानरों को विदा करो'।
English Commentary
The Devas, after praising Shri Rama and Lakshmana, provide the next directive: return to Ayodhya. The mission represents the restoration of order, and the final step is Shri Rama's coronation. The instruction to 'dismiss the monkeys' signals the formal end of the military campaign. It is time for the soldiers to return to their lives and for Shri Rama to assume his role as King.
हिंदी टीका
कार्य सिद्ध होने के बाद देवता श्री राम को उनके अगले कर्तव्य की याद दिलाते हैं। वनवास की अवधि पूर्ण हो चुकी है, अतः आदेश है—'गच्छ अयोध्याम्' (अयोध्या जाओ)। साथ ही, 'विसर्जय च वानरान्' (वानरों को विदा करो) का निर्देश यह बताता है कि अब युद्ध समाप्त हो चुका है और वानरों को भी अपने घर लौटना चाहिए। यह धर्मयुद्ध का औपचारिक समापन है।
