भ्रातरं पश्य भरतं त्वच्छोकाद्व्रतधारिणम् ।
अभिषिञ्चय चात्मानं पौरान् गत्वा प्रहर्षय ॥६-१२३-२०॥
bhrātaraṃ paśya bharataṃ tvacchokādvratadhāriṇam |
abhiṣiñcaya cātmānaṃ paurān gatvā praharṣaya ॥6-123-20॥
Translation
See your brother Bharata, who is observing vows out of grief for you. Get yourself consecrated (crowned) and, having gone there, bring delight to the citizens.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अपने भाई भरत को देखो जो तुम्हारे शोक के कारण (कठोर) व्रत धारण किए हुए हैं। अपना राज्याभिषेक कराओ और (अयोध्या) जाकर नागरिकों को हर्षित करो।
English Commentary
The focus shifts to Bharata, who has been ruling as a regent ascetic. The phrase 'tvacchokat' (out of grief for you) highlights Bharata's immense love and sacrifice. The Devas explicitly command Shri Rama to accept the kingdom ('abhishinchaya' - consecrate yourself), emphasizing that his kingship is divine will. Bringing joy to the 'pauran' (citizens) is presented as the ultimate goal of his return.
हिंदी टीका
देवताओं की वाणी में भरत के त्याग का विशेष उल्लेख है। भरत 'व्रतधारिणम्' हैं, अर्थात उन्होंने भी श्री राम के वियोग में तपस्वी जीवन जिया है। 'अभिषिञ्चय च आत्मानं' (अपना अभिषेक कराओ) का आदेश देकर देवता रामराज्य की स्थापना का मार्ग प्रशस्त करते हैं। नागरिकों को 'प्रहर्षय' (हर्षित करो) कहकर वे यह बताते हैं कि राजा का मुख्य धर्म प्रजा को सुखी करना है।
