ततस्तु सा लक्ष्मणरामपालिता महाचमू र्हृष्टजना यशस्विनी ।
श्रिया ज्वलन्ती विरराज सर्वतो निशा प्रणीतेव हि शीतरश्मिना ॥६-१२३-२३॥
tatastu sā lakṣmaṇarāmapālitā mahācamū rhṛṣṭajanā yaśasvinī |
śriyā jvalantī virarāja sarvato niśā praṇīteva hi śītaraśminā ॥6-123-23॥
Translation
Then, that great and illustrious army, consisting of joyful people and protected by Lakshmana and Shri Rama, shone radiantly on all sides with splendor, just like the night illuminated by the moon (the cool-rayed one).
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर, लक्ष्मण और श्री राम द्वारा पालित वह विशाल, यशस्वी और प्रसन्न जनों वाली सेना सब ओर से अपनी शोभा से वैसे ही सुशोभित हुई, जैसे चंद्रमा (शीतरश्मि) द्वारा प्रकाशित चांदनी रात (निशा) सुशोभित होती है।
English Commentary
The sarga concludes with a beautiful poetic image symbolizing peace and restoration. The army, now described as 'yasasvini' (illustrious) and 'hrishtajana' (full of joyful people), is compared to a night illuminated by the moon ('shitarashmina'). Just as the cool moonlight beautifies the night, the presence of Shri Rama and Lakshmana, along with the miracle of resurrection, casts a glow of serenity and glory over the camp. It marks the end of the dark chapter of war and the beginning of a victorious peace.

सर्ग का समापन एक अत्यंत मनोरम और शांतिपूर्ण उपमा के साथ होता है। वाल्मीकि जी सेना की तुलना 'चांदनी रात' से करते हैं। जैसे चंद्रमा रात्रि के अंधकार और ताप को हर लेता है, वैसे ही श्री राम और लक्ष्मण के संरक्षण में, पुनर्जीवित सेना अब शांत और शोभायमान है। 'लक्ष्मणरामपालिता' (श्री राम और लक्ष्मण द्वारा रक्षित) विशेषण यह सिद्ध करता है कि सच्चा आश्रय प्रभु के चरणों में ही है। युद्ध का कोलाहल अब शांति और आनंद में बदल गया है।
