सहैभिरजिता लङ्का निर्जिता राक्षसेश्वर ।
हृष्टैः प्राणभयं त्यक्त्वा संग्रामेष्वनिवर्तिभिः ॥६-१२५-५॥
sahaibhirajitā laṅkā nirjitā rākṣaseśvara |
hṛṣṭaiḥ prāṇabhayaṃ tyaktvā saṃgrāmeṣvanivartibhiḥ ॥6-125-5॥
Translation
O Lord of Rakshasas! With the help of these cheerful warriors, who abandoned the fear of life and never retreated in battle, the unconquerable Lanka has been conquered.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राक्षसेश्वर! इन प्रसन्नचित्त, प्राणों का भय त्यागने वाले और युद्ध से कभी पीठ न दिखाने वाले वीरों की सहायता से ही अजेय लंका जीती गई है।
English Commentary
Shri Rama attributes the victory not to himself but to the Vanara army. He praises three of their qualities: 'hrishtaih' (cheerful/enthusiastic), 'pranabhayam tyaktva' (fearless of death), and 'anivartibhih' (never retreating). Conquering an impregnable city like Lanka was impossible without their sacrifice. This verse exemplifies Shri Rama's gratitude and the greatness of his leadership.

श्री राम अपनी जीत का श्रेय स्वयं न लेकर वानर सेना को देते हैं। वे उनके तीन गुणों की प्रशंसा करते हैं: 'हृष्टैः' (उत्साही/प्रसन्न), 'प्राणभयं त्यक्त्वा' (निडर) और 'अनिवर्तिभिः' (पीछे न हटने वाले)। लंका जैसी अभेद्य नगरी को जीतना इनके त्याग के बिना असंभव था। यह श्लोक श्री राम की कृतज्ञता और नेतृत्व की महानता का परिचायक है।
