सपत्नीनां सहस्रेण साश्रूण परिवारिता ।
एतत्तु दृश्यते तीर्थं समुद्रस्य वरानने ॥६-१२६-१०॥
sapatnīnāṃ sahasreṇa sāśruṇā parivāritā |
etattu dṛśyate tīrthaṃ samudrasya varānane ॥6-126-10॥
Translation
O fair-faced one! Surrounded by thousands of weeping co-wives, Mandodari sat right here. Now behold, the shore (holy spot) of the ocean is visible—
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे सुंदर मुख वाली! आंसुओं से भरी हजारों सौतों (सह-पत्नियों) से घिरी हुई मंदोदरी यहीं बैठी थी। अब देखो, यहाँ समुद्र का वह तट (तीर्थ) दिखाई दे रहा है—
English Commentary
Shri Rama now shifts His focus from the battlefield to the ocean shore. The word 'Tirtham' indicates the sanctity of the place where the divine mission was accomplished.
हिंदी टीका
श्री राम अब युद्धभूमि से हटकर समुद्र तट की ओर संकेत कर रहे हैं। 'तीर्थम्' शब्द यहाँ उस स्थान की पवित्रता को बताता है जहाँ ईश्वरीय कार्य सिद्ध हुआ।
