ऋष्यमूको गिरिश्रेष्ठः काञ्चनर्धातुभिर्वृतः ।
अत्राहं वानरेन्द्रेण सुग्रीवेण समागतः ॥६-१२६-३४॥
ṛṣyamūko giriśreṣṭhaḥ kāñcanadhātubhārvṛtaḥ |
atrāhaṃ vānarendreṇa sugrīveṇa samāgataḥ ॥6-126-34॥
Translation
This is the excellent Mount Rishyamukha, endowed with golden ores. Here I met with the monkey-king Sugriva.
हिंदी अनुवाद
यह श्रेष्ठ ऋष्यमूक पर्वत है, जो सुवर्ण आदि धातुओं से युक्त है। यहीं मेरा वानरराज सुग्रीव से मिलन हुआ था।
English Commentary
Shri Rama recalls the turning point of His life where the foundation of His victory was laid. The word 'Samagatah' indicates the beginning of a profound friendship.

श्री राम अपने जीवन के उस मोड़ को याद कर रहे हैं जहाँ से उनकी विजय की नींव पड़ी थी। 'समागतः' शब्द मैत्री की प्रगाढ़ता को सूचित करता है।
