यत्र युद्धं महद्वृत्तं तव हेतोर्विलासिनि ।
रावणस्य नृशंसस्य जटायोश्च महात्मनः ॥६-१२६-३८॥
yatra yuddhaṃ mahadvṛttaṃ tava hetorvilāsini |
rāvaṇasya nṛśaṃsasya jaṭāyośca mahātmanaḥ ॥6-126-38॥
Translation
Where, O charming Sita! A great battle took place for your sake between the cruel Ravana and the high-souled Jatayu.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जहाँ हे विलासिनी सीते! तुम्हारे लिए उस क्रूर रावण और महात्मा जटायु के बीच महान युद्ध हुआ था।
English Commentary
Shri Rama never forgot Jatayu's sacrifice. He explains to Sita the significance of the place where a bird gave his life for the sake of Dharma.
हिंदी टीका
जटायु का बलिदान श्री राम कभी नहीं भूले। वे सीता जी को उस स्थान का महत्व समझाते हैं जहाँ एक पक्षी ने धर्म के लिए अपने प्राण दिए।
