यत्र त्वं राक्षसेन्द्रेण रावणेन हृता बलात् ।
एषा गोदावरी रम्या प्रसन्नसलिला शिवा ॥६-१२६-४१॥
yatra tvaṃ rākṣasendreṇa rāvaṇena hṛtā balāt |
eṣā godāvarī ramyā prasannasalilā śivā ॥6-126-41॥
Translation
From where the Rakshasa king Ravana forcibly abducted you. This is the lovely Godavari river with its clear and auspicious waters.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जहाँ से राक्षसराज रावण ने बलपूर्वक तुम्हारा अपहरण किया था। यह वह पवित्र और स्वच्छ जल वाली सुंदर 'गोदावरी' नदी है।
English Commentary
The Godavari river has been a witness to their journey. Shri Rama points out the location where the greatest crisis of His life began.

गोदावरी नदी उनकी साक्षी रही है। श्री राम उस स्थान को दिखाते हैं जहाँ से उनके जीवन का सबसे बड़ा संकट आरम्भ हुआ था।
