शृङ्गवेरपुरं चैतद्गुहो यत्र समागतः ।
एषा सा दृश्यते सीते सरयूर्यूपमालिनी ॥६-१२६-४९॥
śṛṅgaverapuraṃ caitad guho yatra samāgataḥ |
eṣā sā dṛśyate sītē sarayūryūpamālinī ॥6-126-49॥
Translation
This is Shringaverapura, where Guha met us. O Sita! Behold the Sarayu river, adorned with rows of sacrificial pillars (Yupas).
हिंदी अनुवाद
यह वह श्रृंगवेरपुर है जहाँ निषादराज गुह से भेंट हुई थी। हे सीते! देखो, वह यज्ञ के स्तंभों (यूप) की मालाओं वाली 'सरयू' नदी दिखाई दे रही है।
English Commentary
The appearance of the Sarayu is the definitive sign of their arrival at Ayodhya. The sacrificial pillars ('Yupas') indicate the religious prosperity of Ayodhya.

सरयू का दिखाई देना अयोध्या के आगमन का निश्चित संकेत है। यूप (यज्ञ स्तंभ) अयोध्या के धार्मिक वैभव को सूचित करते हैं।
