विद्युन्माली हतश्चात्र सुषेणेन महात्मना ।
लक्ष्मणेनेन्द्रजिच्चात्र रावणिर्निहतो रणे ॥६-१२६-७॥
vidyunmālī hataścātra suṣeṇena mahātmanā |
lakṣmaṇenendrajiccātra rāvaṇirnihato raṇe ॥6-126-7॥
Translation
Vidyunmali was slain here by the high-souled Sushena, and here in the battle, Indrajit, the son of Ravana, was killed by Lakshmana.
हिंदी अनुवाद
महात्मा सुषेण द्वारा यहाँ विद्युन्माली का वध हुआ और यहीं युद्ध में लक्ष्मण ने रावण के पुत्र इन्द्रजित को मार गिराया।
English Commentary
The slaying of Indrajit was the turning point of the war. Shri Rama introduces Sita to the great valor of Lakshmana, who uprooted the strongest pillar of Lanka's power.

इन्द्रजित का वध युद्ध का निर्णायक मोड़ था। श्री राम सीता जी को लक्ष्मण जी के उस महान पराक्रम से परिचित कराते हैं, जिसने लंका की शक्ति के सबसे बड़े स्तंभ को उखाड़ दिया था।
