YUDDHA KANDA•SARGA: 13•SHLOKA: 13
तच्च तस्य तदा मन्ये ज्ञातमासीन्महात्मनः ।
अथ सम्कुपितो वेधा मामिदम् वाक्यमब्रवी ॥६-१३-१३॥
tasya tacc tadā manye jñātamāsīnmahātmanaḥ । atha saṃkupito vedhā māmidāṃ vākyamabravīt ॥6-13-13॥
Translation
I think that matter became known to that high-souled one then. Then, the enraged Creator (Brahma) spoke these words to me.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मुझे लगता है कि उस महात्मा (ब्रह्मा) को वह बात पता चल गई थी। तब क्रुद्ध होकर वेधा (ब्रह्मा) ने मुझसे यह वचन कहा।
English Commentary
Divine Retribution. Brahma, the Omniscient, realized the crime. His anger ('sankupita') signifies the breach of cosmic law. Even the Creator could not overlook such a violation, leading to the pronouncement of a curse.
हिंदी टीका
ब्रह्मा का क्रोध। पुंजिकस्थला की दशा देखकर ब्रह्मा जी सब समझ गए। यद्यपि रावण उनका परपोता (विश्रवा का पुत्र) था, फिर भी इस पाप ने विधाता ('वेधा') को भी कुपित कर दिया।
