त्रिलोकनाथो नम देवराजः ।
शक्तो मया भूमितले विविष्टः ।
भयार्मिताश्चापि दिशः प्रपन्नाः ।
सर्वे तदा देवगणाः समग्राः ॥६-१५-५॥
trilokanātho nanu devarājaḥ śakro mayā bhūmitale niviṣṭaḥ । bhayārditāścāpi diśaḥ prapannāḥ sarve tathā devagaṇāḥ samagrāḥ ॥6-15-5॥
Translation
'Did I not cast down Indra, the Lord of the three worlds and King of Gods, to the ground? And all the hosts of gods, struck with fear, fled in all directions.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
क्या मैंने त्रिलोकीनाथ देवराज इन्द्र को पृथ्वी पर नहीं गिरा दिया था? (उस समय) भय से पीड़ित होकर सभी देवता दिशाओं में भाग गए थे।
English Commentary
Historical basis for confidence. Indrajit invokes his greatest achievement—the defeat of Indra ('Shakra'). This isn't empty boasting; it's a factual record of his prowess. He uses this precedent to argue that his superiority is proven, making Vibhishana's fears seem irrational to him.

ऐतिहासिक प्रमाण। इन्द्रजीत केवल डींगें नहीं हांक रहा, वह अपने इतिहास का हवाला दे रहा है। उसने वास्तव में इन्द्र को हराया था। यह तथ्य उसे विश्वास दिलाता है कि जब उसने देवताओं के राजा को हरा दिया, तो मनुष्य उसके सामने कुछ नहीं हैं। यह उसके तर्क का आधार है।
