तम् मेरु शिखर आकारम् दीप्ताम् इव शत ह्रदाम् ।
गगनस्थम् महीस्थास् ते ददृशुर् वानर अधिपाः ॥६-१७-२॥
taṃ meruśikharākāraṃ dīptāmiva śatahradām । gaganasthaṃ mahīsthāste dadṛśurvānarādhipāḥ ॥6-17-2॥
Translation
Those monkey leaders standing on the ground saw him positioned in the sky, resembling the peak of Mount Meru and like a flashing streak of lightning.
हिंदी अनुवाद
पृथ्वी पर स्थित उन वानर यूथपतियों ने आकाश में स्थित उस (विभीषण) को देखा, जो मेरु पर्वत के शिखर के समान विशाल और चमकती हुई बिजली (शतह्रदा) के समान तेजस्वी था।
