महोदरमहापार्श्वौ राक्षसश्चाप्यकम्पनः ।
अनीकस्थास्तु तस्यैते लोकपालसमा युधि ॥६-१९-१४॥
mahodaramahāpārśvau rākṣasaścāpyakampanaḥ । anīkapāstustasyaite lokapālasamā yudhi ॥6-19-14॥
Translation
'Mahodara, Mahaparshva, and the Rakshasa Akampana—these are his troop commanders, equal to the World Guardians in battle.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'महोदर, महापार्श्व और राक्षस अकम्पन—ये उसके सेनापति (अनीकपा) हैं, जो युद्ध में लोकपालों के समान हैं।'
English Commentary
Secondary Commanders. Vibhishana lists other high-value targets. Comparing Mahodara and others to 'Lokapalas' signifies that they are elite warriors, not mere foot soldiers, requiring specific attention from Shri Rama's best fighters.
