अहं हत्वा दशग्रीवं सप्रहस्तं सबान्धवम् ।
राजानं त्वां करिष्यामि सत्यमेतद् ब्रवीमि ते ॥६-१९-२०॥
rasātalaṃ vā praviśetpātālaṃ vāpi rāvaṇaḥ । pitāmahasakāśaṃ vā na me jīvan vimokṣyate ॥6-19-20॥
Translation
'Whether Ravana enters Rasatala, or Patala, or goes to the presence of the Grandfather (Brahma), he shall not escape me alive.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'रावण चाहे रसातल में घुस जाए, पाताल में चला जाए या ब्रह्मा (पितामह) के पास चला जाए, वह मेरे (हाथों से) जीवित नहीं छूटेगा।'
English Commentary
No Sanctuary. Shri Rama declares that no place in the cosmos—neither the underworld nor the abode of the Creator—can offer sanctuary to Ravana. This assurance is meant to quell any residual fear Vibhishana might have of his brother.
हिंदी टीका
अचूक संकल्प। श्री राम कहते हैं कि रावण ब्रह्मांड में कहीं भी छिप जाए, उसकी मृत्यु निश्चित है। यह विभीषण के मन से रावण के डर को निकालने के लिए कहा गया है।
