सर्वम् तीर्णम् च मे सैन्यम् जितमित्युपधारय ।
इमे हि समरे वीरा हरयः कामरूपिणः ॥६-२-१३॥
sarvaṃ tīrṇaṃ ca me sainyaṃ jitamityupadhāraya । ime hi samare śūrā harayaḥ kāmarūpiṇaḥ ॥6-2-13॥
Translation
Consider everything conquered once my army has crossed over. For these monkeys, capable of changing form at will, are valiant in battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मेरी सेना के समुद्र पार कर लेने पर सब कुछ जीता हुआ ही समझिये; क्योंकि ये कामरूपी (इच्छानुसार रूप बदलने वाले) वानर युद्ध में बड़े शूरवीर हैं।
English Commentary
Sugriva asserts that the outcome of the war is not in doubt; only the transit is. He highlights the 'Kamarupin' nature of his troops—their ability to adapt and shapeshift makes them formidable against the Rakshasas. This assurance is meant to shift Shri Rama's focus entirely to the crossing.

सुग्रीव अपनी सेना की विशिष्टता ('कामरूपिणः' - shape shifters) का उल्लेख करते हैं। वे गोरिल्ला युद्ध (Gorilla Warfare) में माहिर हैं। सुग्रीव का गणित सरल है: समस्या रावण नहीं, समस्या समुद्र है। समुद्र पार, तो खेल खत्म। यह श्री राम के मन से 'क्या होगा?' के भय को निकालता है।
