Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
हतमित्येव तम् मन्ये युद्धे शत्रुनिबर्हण ।
किमुक्त्वा बहुधा चापि सर्वथा विजया भवान् ॥६-२-२५॥
kimuktvā bahudhā cāpi sarvathā vijayī bhavān । nimittāni ca paśyāmi mano me saṃprahṛṣyati ॥6-2-25॥
Translation
What is the use of saying much? You will be victorious in every way. I observe good omens and my mind is filled with great joy.
हिंदी अनुवाद
बहुत अधिक क्या कहा जाए? आप सब प्रकार से विजयी होंगे। मैं शकुनों (निमित्तों) को देख रहा हूँ और मेरा मन अत्यंत प्रसन्न हो रहा है।
English Commentary
Sugriva concludes his pep talk. Having exhausted logical arguments, he turns to intuition and 'Nimittani' (omens). In the epic context, the intuition of a pure heart is a valid validation of the future. His inner joy ('mano me samprahrshyati') confirms that destiny favors Shri Rama.

सर्ग का समापन सुग्रीव के पूर्ण आश्वासन के साथ होता है। तर्कों के बाद अब वे 'निमित्त' (Omens/Intuition) की बात करते हैं। प्राचीन काल में शकुन का बहुत महत्व था। सुग्रीव का मन 'प्रहृष्यति' (अत्यंत प्रसन्न) है, जो विजय का सूचक है। इस प्रकार सुग्रीव ने श्री राम के विषाद को आशा में बदल दिया।
