स गत्वा दूरमध्वानमुपर्युपरि सागरम् ।
सम्स्थितो ह्यम्बरे वाक्यम् सुग्रीव मदिमब्रवीत् ॥६-२०-१४॥
sa gatvā dūramadhvānamuparyupari sāgaram । saṃsthito hyambare vākyaṃ sugrīvamidamabravīt ॥6-20-14॥
Translation
Going a long distance over the ocean, and staying in the sky, he spoke these words to Sugriva.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वह सागर के ऊपर-ऊपर बहुत दूर तक जाकर, आकाश में ही स्थित होकर सुग्रीव से यह वचन बोला।
English Commentary
Standoff Distance. Shuka delivers the message from the safety of the sky ('ambare'), maintaining a tactical distance from the potentially hostile monkeys below.

सुरक्षित दूरी। शुक समुद्र पार करके वानर सेना के ऊपर पहुँचता है, लेकिन नीचे नहीं उतरता। वह 'अम्बरे स्थित' (आकाश में स्थित) होकर संदेश देता है, ताकि पकड़ा न जाए।
