भोगामः च पश्य नागानाम् मया भिन्नानि लक्ष्मण ॥६-२१-१८॥
niruddhatoyaṃ saumitre plavadbhiḥ paśya sarvataḥ । bhogināṃ paśya bhogāni mayā chinnāni lakṣmaṇa ॥6-21-18॥
Translation
'...See the water choked on all sides with floating bodies, O Sumitra's son! See the bodies of serpents cut by me, O Lakshmana.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'...हे सौमित्र! सब ओर से तैरते हुए (मरे हुए जीवों से) पानी को रुका हुआ देखो। हे लक्ष्मण! मेरे द्वारा काटे गए सांपों (भोगिनाम) के शरीरों (भोगों) को देखो।'
English Commentary
Visualization of Carnage. Shri Rama describes the aftermath he intends to create: waters choked ('niruddha') with floating carcasses. It’s a graphic threat of ecological devastation to force the Ocean's hand.

विनाश का दृश्य। श्री राम भविष्य की कल्पना करते हैं (या बाण चलाना शुरू कर चुके हैं)—समुद्र का पानी मरे हुए जीवों से 'निरुद्ध' (Choked) हो जाएगा। वे लक्ष्मण को इस प्रलय को देखने के लिए कहते हैं।
