ते ज्वलन्तो महावेगास् तेजसा सायक उत्तमाः ।
प्रविशन्ति समुद्रस्य सलिलम् त्रस्त पन्नगम् ॥६-२१-२७॥
te jvalanto mahāvegāstejasā sāyakottamāḥ । praviśanti samudrasya salilaṃ trastapannagam ॥6-21-27॥
Translation
Those blazing, high-speed, excellent arrows entered the waters of the ocean, terrifying the serpents within.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे जलते हुए, महावेगवान और तेजस्वी उत्तम बाण समुद्र के उस जल में प्रवेश करने लगे, जिससे वहां के सांप (पन्नग) डर गए।
English Commentary
Fire meets Water. The arrows are described as 'jvalantah' (blazing). Their entry into the ocean causes panic among the subterranean creatures ('trastapannagam'), signifying that nowhere is safe from Shri Rama's wrath.
हिंदी टीका
अग्नि और जल का मिलन। श्री राम के बाण 'ज्वलन्तः' (जलते हुए) हैं। जब वे पानी में घुसते हैं, तो पानी के नीचे रहने वाले नाग ('पन्नग') भयभीत हो जाते हैं। यह मिसाइल हमले जैसा प्रभाव है।
