भुजैः परमनारीणामभिमृष्टमनेकधा ॥६-२१-३॥
varakāñcanakeyūramuktāpravarabhūṣaṇaiḥ । bhujaiḥ parama nārīṇāmabhibhṛष्टamanekadhā ॥6-21-3॥
Translation
(That arm) which was formerly adorned with excellent golden armlets and pearl ornaments, and which was touched/served many times by the arms of excellent women.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(वह भुजा) जो पहले उत्तम सोने के बाजूबंद (केयूर) और मोतियों के श्रेष्ठ आभूषणों से सजी रहती थी, और जो उत्तम नारियों (माताओं/सखियों) की भुजाओं द्वारा अनेक बार स्पर्श (सेवा) की गई थी।
English Commentary
Nostalgic contrast. The verse recalls the arm's history of being adorned and caressed by noble women ('paramanarinam'), emphasizing Shri Rama's transition from the comfort of the palace to the harshness of the seashore.
हिंदी टीका
भुजा की पूर्व स्थिति। यह भुजा कभी राजमहल के सुखों में थी, जहाँ माताएं और रानियां इसका स्पर्श करती थीं। आज वही कोमल और सजी-धजी भुजा खुरदरी जमीन पर तकिया बनी है। यह श्री राम के त्याग की गहराई को दिखाता है।
