विपुलेनोरसा बिभ्रत्कौस्तुभस्य सहोदरम् ।
आघूर्णिततरङ्गौघः कालिकाानिलसंकुलः ॥६-२२-२२॥
vipulenorasā bibhratkaustubhasya sahodaram |
āghūrṇitataṅgaughaḥ kālikānilasaṃkulaḥ ॥6-22-22॥
Translation
On his broad chest, he wore a gem that was the brother of the Kaustubha. He was surrounded by swirling waves and clusters of clouds and wind.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे अपने विशाल वक्षस्थल पर कौस्तुभ मणि के सगे भाई (उसी समुद्र मंथन से निकले अन्य रत्न) को धारण किए हुए थे। उनके चारों ओर लहरों का समूह घुमड़ रहा था और वायु का घेरा बना हुआ था।
English Commentary
Wearing the 'brother of Kaustubha' establishes a kinship with Vishnu (Shri Rama). It reminds Shri Rama that the Ocean gave him his consort (Lakshmi) and his jewel. The physical description implies he hasn't fully separated from his elemental form—he is still wrapped in waves and wind.

भगवान विष्णु कौस्तुभ मणि धारण करते हैं जो समुद्र मंथन से निकली थी। सागर, जो लक्ष्मी और कौस्तुभ के पिता समान हैं, वैसा ही एक रत्न धारण करते हैं। यह श्री राम (विष्णु अवतार) और सागर के बीच के गहरे संबंध को दर्शाता है। वे तत्वों (लहरों, वायु) से घिरे हुए हैं, जो उनका 'परिवेश' है।
