तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा सागरस्य महात्मनः ।
मुमोच तं शरं दीप्तं वीरः सागरदर्शनात् ॥६-२२-३५॥
tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā sāgarasya mahātmanaḥ |
mumoca taṃ śaraṃ dīptaṃ vīraḥ sāgaradarśanāt ॥6-22-35॥
Translation
Hearing those words of the high-souled Ocean, the heroic Shri Rama released that blazing arrow in accordance with the Ocean's direction.
हिंदी अनुवाद
महात्मा सागर के उस वचन को सुनकर, वीर श्री राम ने सागर के दिखाए अनुसार उस दीप्त बाण को छोड़ दिया।
English Commentary
Shri Rama acts instantly. The term 'Mahatmana' (great-souled) for the Ocean indicates reconciliation. The conflict is resolved, and they are now allies working towards a common goal (and cleaning up a side issue).

श्री राम ने सागर की सलाह मान ली। 'महात्मा' विशेषण सागर के लिए प्रयोग किया गया है, जो दर्शाता है कि अब श्री राम और सागर के बीच का तनाव समाप्त हो गया है और सम्मान बहाल हो गया है।
