बहुस्नेहो बहुक्षीरः सुगन्धिर्विविधौषधः ।
एवमेतैर्गुणैर्युक्तो बहुभिः सततं मरुः ॥६-२२-४२॥
bahusneho bahukṣīraḥ sugandhirvividhauṣadhaḥ |
evametairguṇairyukto bahubhiḥ satataṃ maruḥ ॥6-22-42॥
Translation
'It shall have abundant ghee, abundant milk, sweet fragrances, and various herbs.' Thus, the Maru region became eternally endowed with these many qualities.
हिंदी अनुवाद
'यहाँ बहुत घी (स्नेह), बहुत दूध, सुगंध और विविध औषधियाँ होंगी।' इस प्रकार वह मरुदेश इन बहुत से गुणों से सदा युक्त हो गया।
English Commentary

यह वरदान मरुभूमि की अर्थव्यवस्था (पशुपालन और औषधियाँ) का आधार बना। 'स्नेह' का अर्थ तेल या घी है। मरुस्थल की जड़ी-बूटियाँ अत्यंत गुणकारी मानी जाती हैं।
