समर्थश्चाप्यहं सेतुं कर्तुं वै वरुणालये ।
काममद्यैव बध्नन्तु सेतुं वानरपुंगवाः ॥६-२२-५३॥
samarthaścāpyahaṃ setuṃ kartuṃ vai varuṇālaye |
kāmamadyaiva badhnantu setuṃ vānarapuṃgavāḥ ॥6-22-53॥
Translation
'I am indeed capable of building a bridge over the Ocean. Let the foremost monkeys begin building the bridge this very day.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'मैं वरुणालय (सागर) पर सेतु बनाने में निश्चित ही समर्थ हूँ। वानरश्रेष्ठ आज ही से सेतु (का सामान लाकर) बांधना शुरू करें।'
English Commentary
Nala takes charge as the Chief Engineer. He issues the directive for immediate mobilization. There is no procrastination; the energy is shifted from deliberation to action.

नल आदेश देते हैं (Project Manager की तरह)। 'कामम्' का अर्थ है स्वेच्छा से या तुरंत। कार्य आज ही प्रारंभ होगा।
