Srimad Valmiki Ramayana - Yuddha Kanda - Sarga 22

सुग्रीवस्तु ततः प्राह रामं सत्यपराक्रमम् ।
हनुमन्तं त्वमारोह अङ्गदं चापि लक्ष्मण ॥६-२२-८२॥

sugrīvastu tataḥ prāha rāmaṃ satyaparākramam |
hanumantaṃ tvamāroha aṅgadaṃ cāpi lakṣmaṇa ॥6-22-82॥

Translation

Then Sugriva spoke to Shri Rama of true prowess: 'You mount on Hanuman, and let Lakshmana mount on Angada.'

हिंदी अनुवाद

इसके बाद सुग्रीव ने सत्यपराक्रमी श्री राम से कहा—'आप हनुमान जी पर और लक्ष्मण अंगद पर सवार हो जाएं।'

English Commentary

A moment of devotion. Hanuman and Angada serve as the physical vehicles for the Lords, symbolizing that the devotee carries the Lord.
