केचिद्वैहायसगताः सुपर्णा इव पुप्लुवुः ।
घोषेण महता तस्य सिन्धोर्घोषं समुच्छ्रितम् ॥६-२२-८६॥
kecidvaihāyasagatāḥ suparṇā iva pupluvuḥ |
ghoṣeṇa mahatā tasya sindhorghoṣaṃ samucchritam ॥6-22-86॥
Translation
Some flew through the sky like eagles (Suparnas). By their great noise, the loud roar of the ocean was drowned out.
हिंदी अनुवाद
कुछ आकाश मार्ग से गरुड़ की तरह उड़ रहे थे। उस (सेना के) महान घोष ने सागर की ऊंची गर्जना को भी दबा दिया।
English Commentary
The roar of the army superseding the ocean's roar symbolizes the triumph of living will over elemental force.
हिंदी टीका
वानर सेना का शोर सागर की गर्जना से भी अधिक था। यह विजय का घोष था।
