राघवस्य प्रियार्थम् तु सुतराम् वीर्यशालिनाम् ।
हरीणाम् कर्मचेष्टाभिस्तुतोष रघुनन्दनः ॥६-२३-१६॥
rāghavasya priyārthaṃ tu dhṛtānāṃ vīryaśālinām |
harīṇāṃ karmaceṣṭābhistutoṣa raghunandanaḥ ॥6-23-16॥
Translation
Raghunandana (Shri Rama) was pleased by the actions and efforts of the powerful monkeys who were dedicated to Raghava's pleasure/cause.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राघव (श्री राम) के प्रिय कार्य के लिए समर्पित (उद्यत) उन पराक्रमी वानरों की चेष्टाओं और कर्मों से रघुनंदन (श्री राम) बहुत संतुष्ट हुए।
English Commentary
This verse highlights the devotional aspect of the Ramayana. The monkeys act for the priya (pleasure/welfare) of Shri Rama. Their motivation is love and devotion, not just martial duty. Shri Rama's satisfaction with their enthusiasm reinforces the bond between the Divine Lord and his devotees.

यह श्लोक 'भक्ति' और 'सेवा' का सुंदर उदाहरण है। वानर केवल युद्ध नहीं कर रहे, वे 'राघवस्य प्रियार्थं' (श्री राम के प्रिय के लिए) लड़ रहे हैं। श्री राम की संतुष्टि (तुतोष) ही उनका सबसे बड़ा पुरस्कार है। नेता और अनुयायियों के बीच का यह भावनात्मक संबंध ही उनकी असली शक्ति है।
