वाताश्च कलुषा वान्ति कम्पते च वसुन्धरा ।
पर्वताग्राणि वेपन्ते पतन्ति च महीरुःआः ॥६-२३-४॥
vātāśca kaluṣā vānti kampate ca vasundharā |
parvatāgrāṇi vepante patanti ca mahīruhāḥ ॥6-23-4॥
Translation
'Polluted winds are blowing, and the earth is trembling. The mountain peaks are shaking, and massive trees are falling.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'हवाएं दूषित (धूल भरी) चल रही हैं और पृथ्वी कांप रही है। पर्वतों के शिखर हिल रहे हैं और बड़े-बड़े वृक्ष गिर रहे हैं।'
English Commentary
Nature reflects the impending chaos. 'Kalusha' winds (dusty/polluted) and seismic activities are classical bad omens in Vedic literature. The trembling earth and falling trees signify that the stability of the natural world is being disturbed by the magnitude of the approaching conflict between Dharma and Adharma.

प्रकृति आने वाले विनाश पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दे रही है। 'कलुष' (गंदी/धूल भरी) हवा और भूकंप (पृथ्वी का कांपना) प्राचीन मान्यताओं के अनुसार घोर अमंगल के सूचक हैं। यह दर्शाता है कि जब धर्म और अधर्म का महायुद्ध होता है, तो जड़ जगत भी अस्थिर हो जाता है।
