रक्तचन्दनसम्काशा सम्ध्या परमदारुणा ।
ज्वलतः प्रपतत्येतदादित्यादग्निमण्डलम् ॥६-२३-६॥
raktacandanasaṃkāśā sandhyā paramadāruṇā |
jvalataḥ prapatatyetadādityādabhimaṇḍalam ॥6-23-6॥
Translation
'The twilight appears blood-red like red sandalwood and is extremely terrifying. From the blazing sun, a mass of fire seems to be falling.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'संध्या काल लाल चंदन के समान (खूनी लाल) और अत्यंत भयानक लग रहा है। जलते हुए सूर्य से यह आग का गोला सा गिर रहा है।'
English Commentary
The sky turning the color of red sandalwood signifies bloodshed. The phenomenon of fire falling from the sun suggests cosmic disturbances. It sets a catastrophic atmosphere, indicating that the heavens themselves are participating in the prelude to war.

आकाश का रंग लाल चंदन जैसा होना युद्ध की अग्नि का प्रतीक है। सूर्य से आग का गिरना (संभवतः सौर ज्वालाएं या उल्कापात) यह दर्शाता है कि सौर वंश के प्रतापी राजा (श्री राम) का तेज शत्रु को जलाने के लिए तैयार है, या यह ब्रह्मांडीय असंतुलन का संकेत है।
