Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
इति दाशरथी रामो लक्ष्मणं समभाषत ।
बलं च तद्वै विभजञ्छास्त्रदृष्टेन कर्मणा ॥६-२४-१३॥
iti dāśarathī rāmo lakṣmaṇaṃ samabhāṣata |
balaṃ ca tadvai vibhajañchāstradṛṣṭena karmaṇā ॥6-24-13॥
Translation
Shri Rama, the son of Dasharatha, spoke thus to Lakshmana and divided (deployed) that army according to the procedures prescribed in the scriptures (military science).

दशरथनंदन श्री राम ने लक्ष्मण से ऐसा कहा और उस सेना को शास्त्रोक्त विधि (सैन्य शास्त्र के नियमों) के अनुसार विभाजित (तैनात) किया।
English Commentary
Shri Rama shifts from being a poet/lover to a commander-in-chief. 'Shastradrishtena karmana' implies he followed the established rules of military science (Dhanurveda) rather than acting arbitrarily. Discipline and structure are key to victory.

श्री राम अब एक कवि या प्रेमी नहीं, बल्कि एक सेनापति की भूमिका में हैं। 'शास्त्रदृष्टेन कर्मणा' का अर्थ है कि उन्होंने मनमाने ढंग से नहीं, बल्कि 'धनुर्वेद' और सैन्य विज्ञान के नियमों का पालन करते हुए सेना को तैनात किया। अनुशासन विजय की कुंजी है।
