प्रचचाल च वेगेन त्रस्ता चैव वसुन्धरा ।
पीड्यमाना बलौघेन तेन सागरवर्चसा ॥६-२४-२॥
pracacāla ca vegena trastā caiva vasundharā |
pīḍyamānā balaughena tena sāgaravarcasā ॥6-24-2॥
Translation
Oppressed by the weight of that army, which possessed the splendor of the ocean, the earth became terrified and trembled violently.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सागर के समान तेजस्वी उस सेना के समूह (के भार) से पीड़ित होकर पृथ्वी भयभीत हो गई और वेग से कांपने लगी।
English Commentary
The scale of the army is described using hyperbole. The army is compared to the 'ocean' to denote its vastness and power. The trembling of the earth signifies the sheer physical weight and the dynamic energy of the Vanara forces, suggesting that their march was momentous enough to disturb the geological stability.

सेना की विशालता का वर्णन करने के लिए 'अतिशयोक्ति' अलंकार का प्रयोग किया गया है। सेना की तुलना 'सागर' से की गई है, जो उसके अनंत विस्तार और शक्ति को दर्शाती है। पृथ्वी का कांपना यह बताता है कि वानर सेना का भौतिक भार और उनका उत्साह इतना अधिक था कि धरती भी उसे सहन करने में कठिनाई अनुभव कर रही थी।
